On Sunday December 18, 2011 at 10am EST, ESPN2 and Outside the Lines tentatively will be airing a special 30 minute episode on the saga surrounding the WCOFF. Outside the Lines traveled to the homes of several of the individuals surrounding the current WCOFF payment default and bankruptcy. The two largest remaining unpaid winners Chad Schroeder and Tony Windis were both interviewed as well as Ian Ritchie, who many remember attempted a last second salvage of the WCOFF to no avail. Current FPA President, Scott Atkins was also interviewed for the piece.
“I hope the show sheds some light on what the fantasy player community can and should do to avoid issues like this in the future . . . ” Scott Atkins said.

Finally fantasy sports gets some airtime since the rather disappointing 30-for-30 piece on the industry. Unfortunately, the subject matter is more of a black eye than a highlight. The FPA was basically formed to dish on the WCOFF struggles, so perhaps this is their 15 minutes of fame coming down the pipe.
